UEFA 'A' coaching licence
Bachelor Degree in Physical Education, specialising in Soccer Conditioning.
I am 38 years old and started playing football at the age of 10 for F.C Doxa Dramas in Greece. I played in all the age levels before progressing to the first team when I was 19 years old. I played for 10 years as a professional at all levels of Greek football for the following teams: Doxa Dramas, Iltex Likoi (WOLVES), Agrotikos Asteras, Ethnikos K., Pandramaikos and Olimpiakos Volou.
During my career I won 6 championships with 5 different teams. At the age of 29 I stopped playing and completed my studies in fitness conditioning and football coaching. I was also a student of the UEFA coaching schools (H.F.F in Greece) and I am a fully certified UEFA A’ licence coach.
I started my coaching career in youth football for 3 years and for the last 4 years I have been a head coach in 3 different semi-professional teams in Greece (winning 2 championships). The aim is to develop young players to be professional footballers. My desire is to work at a higher level elsewhere in Europe. Football is my main focus in life and I have a deep passion for coaching. From very early I was interested in studying training methods as well as to observe and analyse how they are successfully applied (in all phases of the game).
I love to learn from the great and successful teams who help to evolve the game. For my first book I wanted to use my skills to create great content for coaches all over the world to improve their training sessions. I decided to analyse a team coached by one of the most successful coaches in the last 10 years, Jose Mourinho.
The season in which all these goals were scored was 2011- 2012 when Jose lead Real Madrid to the Spanish championship (La Liga). I think this is a book which provides content that has not been produced before. We have combined a comprehensive analysis of the phases of play which lead to goals with training exercises that can be used for coaches to train the 4-2-3-1.
1. We analyse Jose Mourinho’s tactics and the phases of play which lead to Real Madrid’s best goals and how to recognise and find solutions against different opposition’s formations and tactical situations.
2. We created specific practices to train how to apply the same objectives to your team and achieve the same results.
In life, I believe it is not what you own that matters, but what you create. So I have decided to make this book. My favourite motto is ‘You can always do much more.’
All of the practices are are presented with clear simple to understand diagrams supported with objective, description, coaching points and variations/progressions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you Learn how to coach your team to play like "the best counter attacking team in the world" with 114 practices organised into 30 ready-made sessions
